In the last week i have bought 3 laptops
1. Compaq Presario 1210us for 435 bucks
2. Sony Vaio PCG-961A for 450 bucks
3. Compaq Presario 2701us for 570 bucks
Including my old one a Toshibia Satelite 2515CDS for 150
I plan on selling 3 of em, i plan on getting (all prices before shipping) 500 bucks for the first one, 600 bucks for the second, and 700 bucks for the third one. My old one I plan on getting 200 for it.
Therefore I plan on obtaining a profit total of 400 dollars. Along with what I had in the start the toshibia was a Pentium 1 233Mhz computer. Officemax is selling an XP 2200+ for 699 after rebates and Staples is selling a Pentium 4 2.33Ghz for 799 after rebates.
Along with the 400 dollars of profit I will make and including to what I had paid originally and wanted the 150 for my old laptop I will have 550 of spending money. So I will have to dish out another 150 or 250 bucks for a new laptop.
So hence I will only be paying 300-400 bucks for a thousand dollar laptop.
Isn't our economy the bestest? 
As you can see one of my main hobbies is making money (You gotta spend money to make money)
