Heavenly Father,
I thank you for the gift of life, for the gift of wisdom and soul. Thank you for letting me live with the help of all the people around me especially the gift of family and friends. For without them, I may not be able to survive all the challenges that may come along the way. You mold me to be a better person inspite of all the difficulties and struggles in life, and made me stronger to gain my self-esteem and self-worth. Thanks for the days that I still manage to laugh a good joke when I'm down, smile when my days seem gloomy, and be happy to realize that life is worth living...
Please accept me, your child, begging before you, to repent all my sins and shortcomings in life. I know, I am not PERFECT, that I too, in any way, offended other people. I am sorry for the times I chose to utter negative and nasty words to hurt them. When I lost my temper, I lose control of myself and ended up hurting them more. Sorry for having not enough will power to control and fight evil over good...
Help me Lord, to live a good Christian life. Help me to be an instrument in your Holy Will. Aid me to fight all the earthly temptations along my path. Give me signs when to hold back and let go of all the matters that will be significant to my existence. Let me live a peaceful and harmonious relationship with the earthly entities around me...
Please Lord, assure me or your love, graces and blessings. Show me what the real meaning of happiness and fulfillment in life. Help me to be contented on what I have and what will I become...
I know, I cannot repay you with anything for the goodness you've shown, because as mortals, I tend to forget and sin again, but I will show you what will EDELAINE do and contribute for the betterment of herself, to her family and friends, to the community and to the country as well from this day forward.. AMEN..
