Monday,Feb 4 2008, 05:32:41 AM Recession in the market can be the harvest time fo

Recent volatility in the global market causes some to scurry for their jobs, the Accounting firms and Financial companies are on demand.

The recent ups and downs in the market has spelled doom for the small time investors. The cloud of uncertainty is still hovering large over the stock market as the pre-poll results are coming up.

The difficult time started from September 2007 onwards as this swinging market index puts the stock investors fortune hanging on a thin rope.

This has not only affected the Stock market but the whole economy, we are poised on an economic recession, last week there had been 100000 job loss in US.

Is it time for prayers? A few days back I read the Article on Ben Bernanke, which says can he save the economy? Well the answer is we the Americans have no options other than being optimistic.

Barnanke report which hints at cutting the Federal Funds target rates.

It is very clear from the recent trends that the economy is eaten by the bears and a maximum of one and half percent GDP growth can be expected. Which means if the Bull regains strength then also there would be a million job loss and shoot the recession to nearly 70 percent.

Still there is some breather for long term investors and they might be able to weather this storm, albeit scathed but survived. As the Financial and Accounting Firms predicting that the Equity market has always recorded an upward curve, so the people who invest for long term would be able to survive..same like the cat and mouse game high risk and high gain.

One thing is very clear that this is nothing but a short term ripple and it would become better slowly at the later stage of the financial year.

Whatever may be the outcome the lack of transparency in the market has hit hard on the economy. Another reason that I feel could be associated with this disaster is the lack of knowledge of the risks by the investors. Now in both the cases I would say, this could have been avoided if there was some warning system before the bull plunged which could have alerted the investors.

The Financial advisors and Accounting firms have reaped some profit taking advantage of the situation. People are running for them to seek advises and business houses roping in CPA Accountants before the finance budget....
