OCEANS MIRAGE oh the ocean has it many quirks sand ruffled feet cool from water ever present breeze taste of salt on the lips would just love to drowned in a memory of love wave after wave building up crashing down an imprint of life washes away as the water splashes over and over drifts of clouds break the spell as cools air sets in a jolt of reality for the dream that was never really there. all relief as to my fate
the air I breath seems
as cool as the breeze
I slumber to sleep
with this view
of you and me
silent in nature
only the birds
whispering call
shall break the thrall
ooohh how I wish
it all were right here
in my reach
this time of relief
and solitude so brief
I love the smell of fall
when ground water
freshens the earths crust
and winters whine begins
how the magestic moutains
remains in my heart.....
