An old buddhist widower told me of his late wife's death with a smile on his wrinkled face, what suprised me was the way he took the subject so lightly that i dared to ask him what he would write if there was a mail service between the dead and living beings. he was silent for a span of five minutes and dictated me that he would definately write to her(Roughly translated by me):

Dearest Dophum,

I'm happy that you are dead because i cant bear to think what you would go through without me. its not that i don't miss you, insooth i miss you more than anything that i could think of but the suffering of the world is so hillarious and the night i spend without your warm comfort is even more absurd. yea dear, i had now accepted the absurdity of the life itself and ever more pine to be relieved of this decaying body, yet, yet i cant do so because i have to light 653 butter lamps for you. do you remember the promise we made to each other about lighting 1000 butter lamps for the one who ever died first, sadly i could only lit 347 butter lamps till now but i will keep my promise and will meet you soon in the Nirvana.

Dear, i am sad that we could not have any offspring but more than that i am happy that we're not leaving anybody behind, whom we care, in this absurd world. you know what, our Village is changing dramatically, ministers are visiting our ignored village and promising to make all of us happy if we press a button on a machine below their photo. i dont understand why i should do that but they insist us to do, dear i am more than happy that you are not here because these people are sucking our blood and really harrasing us mentally. thank god that you are not here to witness this degenarating world of our village.

Dear, i have many thing to say but i am not sure whether this letter will reach you or not, i will continue to update the situation of our village if i get word from you..... till then i hope you will be in the nirvana pining to receive me....love and regards.
