The set opens with 'CROSSED BY THE MOON' ..a bluesy rocker in the EC/Derick & the Dominos style featuring RONNO'S searing blues guitar work and super soulful vocals. Next is the title song 'SOULMATE' ....if you are not up on the floor and shakin' your ass with this tune.... well then... you're just not human! The blues mover 'SITUATION BLUES' follows and we are on the deep blues way via killer Texas style blues guitar. 'PAIN' is an over the top - death by disco - high volume trama trip. 'A KISS FROM VENUS' is all deep groove in a Hendrix - like free fall of echo & multi-track guitar...erotic blues? 'WHY DO YOU BREAK MY HEART' is a soul sender & string bender...you can hear steel strings breaking and hard hearts aching in RONNO'S highly emotional vocals.
