Every human being has two side of their personality. One dark side, one bright side. The darker side makes us do the things which are not good for others. Greed, jealousy, lust, impulsiveness, hurting others, being mean to others is part of the darker side of ones personality. On the other hand attributes like truthfulness, kindness, generosity, humanity etc.  are part of bright side of our personality.  The important thing is, you can make either of this side stronger or weaker just by nurturing that one. If you cultivate the dark side more, it will be stronger than the brighter side. If you nurture the brighter side that side will be stronger and guide all your action.

 

I was just wondering…people who always act in a way that shows they are cultivating their darker side in Internet life, how does that affect their real life? They say, it’s just net, but does this affect their real life personality too?  Does the darker side of their personality shadows their brighter side and affect people in their real life the way they affect people in net? Or they are really totally diffrent person in real life?

Hi, My Sweet Shalee-Roshni,
getting addicted to different dishes from different restaurants would be more tastier and tangier than a delicious food from own kitchen...so as beeing busy in net to develop darker side...
wait...eventually, humans have the tought power to choose either.. through relisation.
more over what u say is right, it affects personality.

People show their hidden part on the net. They are mean here but in real life they haven't got the guts to be what they are here, so it stays invisible in real life. But then again it depends on the person.. well, normally they are somehow different in person.

I don't think so. The changes have already been made...I can see it. I am now much more free to speak ot opposit sex...which I was not before....I don't think I will be nervous ans shy if I somewho just stop Zorpia.

na, im pretty calm around here, it does take quite a bit to make me mad though.. im pretty mellow in that sense.. and yes im always nice, until someone is mean to me (or one of my firends) first.. then im like a badger lol

you have brought an issue that's being debatable for years..Yes..you are right each person of us is like the moon ..have bright side which we see and feel..and a dark side which we don't know about..unless with companionship.
A person's behavior on the net..dose reflect his personality..whether the dark one or the bright one.
There are people who look nice on the surface but eveil from inside. That is why they say don't judge the book by the cover.

I told you, Granny, if they practice being mean on the internet, I think they get skilled at being mean. What you practice doing, you can do reflexively, without weighing the merits of your actions. I think being mean on the internet must lead to being mean in real life.

Yeah...thats what I thought too. For example...being in Zorpia made me feel easy to talk to people of opposit sex. I was not this free before..:)

Not necessarily, I think there have been a few cases of people using their frustrations of not being able to be nasty or unkind in real life, to let fly on the net, because they think it doesn't matter being rude etc to people they don't know. But I don't really know. I think some are bad mouthed etc more in real life than on the net! I am sure it varies from person to person. But I totally understand your point, and basically agree.
