The barber Story

When was the last time you had a haircut ? Did you get to chat with the barber personally. Well, read a nice story between a man and the barber

A man went to a barbershop to have his hair cut and his beard trimmed. As the barber began to work, they began to have a good conversation.

They talked about so many things and various subjects. When they eventually touched on the subject of God, the barber said: “I don’t believe that God exists.”

“Why do you say that?” asked the customer.

“Well, you just have to go out in the street to realize that God doesn’t exist. Tell me, if God exists, would there be so many sick people? Would there be abandoned children? If God existed, there would be neither suffering nor pain. I can’t imagine loving a God who would allow all of these things.”

The customer thought for a moment, but didn’t respond because he didn’t want to start an argument. The barber finished his job and the customer left the shop. Just after he left the barbershop, he saw a man in the street with long, stringy, dirty hair and an untrimmed beard.

He looked dirty and un-kept. The customer turned back and entered the barber shop again and he said to the barber: “You know what? Barbers do not exist.”
“How can you say that?” asked the surprised barber. “I am here, and I am a barber. And I just worked on you!”

“No!” the customer exclaimed. “Barbers don’t exist because if they did, there would be no people with dirty long hair and untrimmed beards, like that man outside.” “Ah, but barbers DO exist! What happens is, people do not come to me.” “Exactly!” affirmed the customer. “That’s the point!

God, too, DOES exist! What happens is, people don’t go to Him.”

My reaction to the whole situation was…
GOD LOVE US !!!

Feel Good About Who You Are

An elderly Chinese woman had two large pots, each hung on the ends of a pole which she carried across her neck. One of the pots had a crack in it while the other pot was perfect and always delivered a full portion of water. At the end of the long walk from the stream to the house, the cracked pot arrived only half full.

For a full two years this went on daily, with the woman bringing home only one and a half pots of water. Of course, the perfect pot was proud of its accomplishments. But the poor cracked pot was ashamed of its own imperfection, and miserable that it could only do half of what it had been made to do. After 2 years of what it perceived to be bitter failure, it spoke to the woman one day by the stream.

"I am ashamed of myself, because this crack in my side causes water to leak out all the way back to your house." The old woman smiled, "Did you notice that there are flowers on your side of the path, but not on the other pot's side?" "That's because I have always known about your flaw, so I planted flower seeds on your side of the path, and every day while we walk back, you water them."

"For two years I have been able to pick these beautiful flowers to decorate the table. Without you being just the way you are, there would not be this beauty to grace the house." Each of us has our own unique flaw. But it's the cracks and flaws we each have that make our lives together so very interesting and rewarding.

You've just got to take each person for what they are and look for the good in them. So, to all of my crackpot friends, have a great day and remember to smell the flowers on your side of the path!

Of Chicks and Beauty:

Of Chicks and Beauty: “Outer beauty doesn’t matter..

Dedicated to all my frenz out there…….expecially single galz out there... geez... i got something to share here.... It is totally a lie when people say that outer beauty doesn't matter. It's not very important, but it does matter. Anyway, I guess that a physical body will be the one to attract a guy first. This is normal, and if a guy says no, he's lying to you. Some guy who puts 100% emphasis on a chick's face or body, then I'll tell you right now, stop wasting your time stressing over a loser like that. Men like that lack real substance and character. All of us girls are attractive in our own special way. It's actually all based on the inside. For instance, you may be pretty and beautiful and intelligent and a flirt or maybe his race and guys will go drooling after you but what if your attitude stinks? If the guy is so immature that he likes to show off, and appreciates physical appearances more than anything, he will definitely go for beauty and any girl with a nice figure. On the other hand, if the guy is mature enough and understands that beauty will fade with time, he will instead appreciate the inner beauty of a girl, like the way she thinks, the way she does things or the way she solves problems. Then you'll know that most mature men would prefer a woman who knows what she wants and that attracts them. Sad to say physical plays a role too. You can't please everyone and anyone. However, this does not apply to everyone I sum it up as two elements. Genetics and psychology. Here is a point to ponder. If you have a crush on a guy that looks at beauty and beauty alone, do not waste your emotions on him. Think most people will have that question in mind. A good friend of mine (guy) told me that he would choose a girl for her looks. You can try looking at the girl and imagining her when she turns into a 50 year old. Beauty fades eventually. Will she still be attractive to you?? Girls are increasingly starving themselves because they're in some kind of stupid female power. Well, do make some observations and I do notice that most guys like girls who are small in size. I mean those of a slightly small build with long hair who are soft spoken, those who are not the loud type. Well, that is just from what I see. MOST of them do, but there are still some gal friends of mine who are heavier than most thin gals and yet they have boyfriends who care a lot about them, so it does not mean that only looks count. Men who doesn’t appreciate you, don't bother as fate has it' s own ways to surprise you when you are not looking for love. You will wonder why a good looking guy can couple with a plump girl (She was not beautiful but she made others feel beautiful about themselves) . It could be due to something very special within this girl that cannot be expressed to everyone. Besides, a true friend/boyfriend will not mind how we are, but will instead care about how we feel. Pertaining to this issue, as a gal, I want a guy who can really give me morale support, emotional support, love, care, encouragement and affection. Being a sentimental and sensitive person and someone who has been depressed before, I really need a guy who really cares about what I feel and also a guy who is able to comfort me during dark times. That is what I really want from a guy. Well, my advice is……. I know how it feels when I'm not accepted by everyone. Everyone has their own likes and dislikes. What I'm trying to bring out to you is that we as humans can't make everyone accept us into their lives. And not every guy will get to accept us as we are. You know it doesn't matter how you are and what you are. If a person realizes the goodness in you and likes you because you shine through your inner beauty (which is the most important) then that person is a good one. Be yourself and if you fail once, try and try again! I think most guys prefer a girl to be herself, rather than pretending in front of them. So, be different, but don't lose your values. Understand yourself and become that special person you are and have HUGE amounts of confidence. It's your attitude, general good vibe and confidence which will earn you long-term brownie points. As long as you are happy with whom you are, just keep going. All the best! Greetings from down under!
