i am glad the Lisbon vote was a NO,,,,,
i am sick of what the governments are trying to do to us
they want to rule us with fear,,,we need to control our own country,
the media has not helped us, but all of Europe must claw back their rights also,
A Europe is good where all people has a say in our future, we know that we cant rely on our governments to do the right thing, now the are saying it does need to be changed, where was this before the result, and don't forget the Irish government did not want to give us the vote, and all parties were the same, and its time to shake them up now, we want to put fear back into them, don't forget they should be working for us,
It is past time the Irish government start backing the people, and stop backing horses,
some heads should role to show our power, and this will keep them in check,
We hear a lot about the price of oil, and this will worsen no matter what,
We are using 4 barrels of oil for every one we are finding, so decline is getting worse, this is not the end, as their is loads of oil in the world, but it is not viable yet to extract it, it is to deep, as it gets more expensive it will be viable, even now when we talk about becoming greener, the governments are striping the south pole as the ice caps melt, for its resources, even in Ireland there is oil, but it is to deep,
the average price of a house in Ireland now is about 220,000, it will cost about 15,000 to run your elect and heating on a combination of wind and solar independently, this is not a lot extra on the price of a house, a few extra Euro a month on the mortgage, and it saves as you don't have an Esb bill or heating bill,
make this compulsory from now on, and you will not look to pay extra for it,, you will still only buy the house that you can afford, and it will have it, give tax relief on existent homes to convert over a few years, and this will pay of on the government also as people will be putting back what they save,,and this will relieve consumption, and on a global scale if implemented will relieve oil consumption
And this is one area where the world will be combating the problem, and not trowing good money at it, And this does not solve the problem, Anyone with a brain will understand this, When the house market drops is the time to drop interest rates, and claw back slowly when there is a boom, we joined the Eu in 73 we had a big slump in the 80`s and the boom started in the 94/95/96 and this followed the floating the Irish currency, then the banks followed with dropping the interest rate, this is not a good idea, a conservative drop will help, and will help sustain it longer and will give more profit for bank`s to help drop it when the need arises, the us banks has practice this in the past with success, do these idiots learn anything, talking down the economy inserts fear in the people, this does not help, and now i will predict a boom, like those assholes i cant fail, because it will happening some time,,like those idiots predicts a slow down even before the boom, what genius and foresight,,I could do better, so could you,,
