1. Trick the program into thinking the video is a supported file type.
2. Convert the video to a supported file type using a video converter.
To trick the program you simply rename the file extension to an
extension that's supported by WMM (best option is .avi). So for example
if you had a video called hello.flv you would rename it to hello.avi.
After doing this try importing it, if it still isn't working then try
this. Open WMM and click tools>>>options and on the
compatibilaty tab make sure all your codecs are ticked. Then try
importing the video again. To show file extensions (.wmv .avi etc)
If it still isn't importing then you shoud convert the video to a
format supported by WMM (.wmv or .avi etc). There are loads of video
converters around so you should be able to find one you like. The one I
use is Total Video Converter. You can get that here.DVD to 3GP Converter shareware allows uers to convert dvd to 3gp, 3gpp, 3g2 with ease.
That isn't a free program but you can use a full free version of it for
10 days. If you prefer a totally free video converter you can try one
of the ones below (they aren't that good though, they will probably
mess up the quality of your videos).

i have a sony camcorder hdr cx100.
it captures vedio in MTS format. Rip DVD to Zune help you ripping DVD movies and put DVD on Zune with excellent image and sound quality.
and i have pinacle studio version 12 and movie edit pro 12.
both of those not working with MTS formats.
now i am looking forward to buy a another vedio editing software, can anybody tell me which one is best for MTS format.

Right-click the file and choose Open With.
Scroll down the list and find Notepad.
Before you open it, tick the box that says "always use this program to open files of this type".
right click the file - click on "Open with..." and then find notepad in the list.

Yes you can but first you need to copy the video to your computer's
hard drive. Your Blackberry should of came with instructions on how to
do this.
Once you have the video on your hard drive you need to import it into
WMM (Windows Movie Maker). If a progress bar comes up then good, that
means it's importing.
If it says something like unable to import because this file type isn't
supported by WMM then you'll need to do one of two things.
