windows movie maker is good but theres others that cost money like adobe premiere elements 7 is Really good

Final Cut - advanced
Adobe Premiere - advanced
Avid - advanced
Sony Movie Shaker - basic
Vegas - basic
There are tons of them out there - the best thing is to start with a basic one of get someone to teach you the advanced ones.
The basic ones range in price from $50 to $150.
The more advanced ones start in price around $500
Again, I'd advise you to go find someone that can give you a quick lesson - it will save you HOURS of frustration!
