I don't really have anyone else to look after them, but i get a break every other weekend when they go to there dads so guess its not to bad :)

Iv got 3 monsters, there free to good home or bad im not fussy :D

The nightmare child ( my middle one ) has ADHD and trying to get her to sit still for 5 mins is a nightmare, the other 2 would b easyier to teach

my son has ADHD too and he's driving me NUTS :S
is she on any medication? I know without meds my son is seriously not capable of functioning in public, let alone dealing with him at home

I wish she was on medication, but the stupid social workers want her to try to control herself through play, it's just really not working they even have me playing so they say i can connect with her though play, what they need to do is spend a day in my house then they will see that she needs proper help :s

are social workers doctors there? take her to a psychiatrist... ADHD is a MEDICAL condition, not a behavior problem... it's a chemical imbalance in the brain, it needs medication

I took her to the doctors first of all and they told me to contact social services, Chloes half brother and sister have ADHD and it took years for the doctors to take any notice of her now there on ritalin and theres a big diffrence with them there now in there 20's and still take it.

my son and I both take Ritalin... he has ADHD and I have ADD... it DOES make a bid difference... seriously though, check into seeing a psychiatrist... I don't know how it works there, but here Psychologists treat through therapy (good for BEHAVIORAL conditions) and Psychiatrists treat through medication and therapy (great for MEDICAL conditions)... psychologists and counselors can't prescribe medications here, only regular doctors or Psychiatrists

I need to do something soon she is so out of control :s i will look into seeing a psychiatrist for her, i heard fish oil helps too xxx

yes, fish oil can help, but it's not a HUGE difference... magnesium is also helpful in supplements and/or soaking in a tub of epsom salts... I used to have my son do that each night, but now that he's older he'll only take showers

ur son only takes ridilin i have a friend who has adhd and he's on dexiamphetamines

yeah those two are almost interchangeable... you can either take one or the other... both are in the amphetamine family... central nervous system stimulants

Send your kids to bootcamp, it's what I'd do, and when they get back they'll be cleaning up after you haha. Bribery works well with kids also. ;)

If there was a boot camp near me i WOULD send them there lol
bribery doesnt work with my lot iv tryed, they get wise as they get older lol

Thats 1 thing id love to do is travel but without the kids, i guess if i tie and gag them and put them in the cuboard under the stairs they would be ok for a few weeks lol
