ohhh sweetie, i am still not paying 200.000 usd for it...(at least) In June i was in Romania and the Q7 model was already on the streets. I got back here and a few days ago (just!!!!) i finally saw commercials on TV about it. So, it takes a while for them to get them here:P

the merc SLR has 625 hp and 702hp is more. and more is better.
considering the SLR is 3 times as much somebody might go with that ride ^^

my audi is 16 years now and i didnt have any trouble so far - amazing =) what you pay more first you save over the years.

yeah that and the bmw, although they can get pretty expensive as far as insurance and mechanical work...

over there its probably very different. here you get great prices at taxi auto shops especially with Mercedes. plus parts are better available i guess. insurance with that particular car is somewhat higher ^^

well over here anything foreign always costs more :(
and now days im sure they have more parts on hand its just the high price still remains....

thats also because the exchange rate is really bad, for me its real cheap to get stuff from the states if i wanted to.

if I buy it in America I pay 58.000€ (exchange rate applied)
in Germany I pay 91.000€

Audi is NOT made by VW, it's just part of the VW corporation. The Audi plant is in Neckarsulm (Stuttgart), no VW is made there. Moreover Audi owns Lamborghini which led to cooperation with engine development and stuff.

VW make the engines for Audi, and they make it in VW factory in Punatal near Kassel, in Hessen :))

i visited the factory there and they gave us a presentation about everything related to these cars, beside a tour inside the factory :)

thats right some engines.
but not all of them.
and not the software, i know that because my fathers company makes it =) and i have been working on it recently.

Its a car :) its the car i want, dosnt matter what range or price it has, i want a Bentley. I just said my opinion. And Mayback well sure,they look awsome enough,But Bentley looks more classy and elegant, not flashy like the RR even and not with a very familiar design like Maybach.
If you are planing to get a 62S You need a chauffeur :)

Of course :) many "HOT" maybachs on the market, even though, they are producing less and less, for some odd reason....i guess people are satisfied with just the simple mercedes, regular "follow the flow,like everybody else" car :), its not my problem people dont have class :P
i didnt say that maybach dosnt make cars for "self drivers" as you call it, but if you want the exact one on the second pic,....(hmmm i thought i made it clear on my previous msg...but oh well :P) I would prefer a chauffeur.... nice car! esspecialy it being an MTM RS6 so even more the horse power then the standard production engine!

still lot of people may differ to it as being nice as lot ppl think its jus a standard estate with phat wheels etc! not realising the heart of the car is pakin sum serious heat! i see u say of the SLR bein less powerfull but then again for the desernin enthusiast who may push it to its limites has a choice of ownin a 722 SLR which is more powerfull then the MTM RS6 ;)

not to forget the SLR has its own mighty pressence in any crowd or street it will fo show break every mofo's neck lol.

now me bein a reall petrol head sorta lad even tho i dont like jap cars think they nasty n they duno how to design interiors or exteriors but still consider the new R35 skyline to be a reall SUPER CAR BEATER for only 50k now thas sayin sumthin takin engineerin of automotive to a whole new level! personaly i belive it will set the new bench mark for supercars unless porsche hits back to take its crown which its always held! howeva if the R35 was to race the MTM RS6 on the nurburg circuit i belive the ability of the R35 skyline to handle the bends at much higher speed will make it a winner. advantage for high horse power = more torque n power on strait roads but on bends i doubt there is any car that can rule bends like a porsche until the R35 came a long.

hence the 911 turbo even tho its not as powerfull as many late supercars with huge engines etc still is able to thrash most their times etc due to its handlin n power to weight ratio etc pure drivers toy!
