You may have some questions like -

Why can't I enter the temple?

Answer - only those lds (latter day saint members) who have temple recommends can enter after a temple is deciated, but during a grand opening or right after a temple is built, non members can take tours of these builds, than when its dedicated only - members with temple recommends can enter -

Temples of the Most High God have been around since old testament times - but only in the latter days and only through appointed ministers can they currently be opperated - because it takes special priesthood keys to do the work in these buildings for the living and the dead -- to understand these things you need to talk to an active latter day saint or missionary!

Do we worship in them on Sundays?

Ans. - No - we worship in wards and stake building through out the world - or in other buildings - but ordinances of washing, annointing, baptisms, endowments, sealings are done in these temples, only by those who have the authority to do so -

Q - Why do the dead need ordinances?

Ans - Christ commanded that both the living and the dead be baptized - see 1 cor. 15:29

29 Else what shall they do which are baptized for the dead, if the dead rise not at all? why are they then baptized for the dead?

Q - do we have all the answers ?

Ans - no, but we have more than any one else - currently on this earth -
