2010. Its been sooo long since we humans evolved, created places to stay, hunt, explore and when we realized we had come a long way, we began digging our ancestral roots for a sense of direction.
And then began the vision for the future which is actually costing us the life of many species of our wonderful planet. But assuming greed as a natural element of human behaviour, we didn't give a damn to whatever was happening to our mother nature- all in the name of building a better future. I am terrified if the future is in the hands of the science which doesnt bother how many lives its experiments take.
The point is what is the use of creating better technologies if it literally KILLS life on earth?
Someone may argue that green technology IS in favor of the planet and its a good idea to search for cleaner ways of living. True. But still, I think we already have enough ways- solar energy, tidal wave energy, windmills, compost. The point is not that we should not be looking for more alternatives, but we should try first to make sure that the alternatives already been proposed are put to full practice, i.e. whether or not are the basic necessities available to all.

i read some research material on the predictions done by the maya civilization 2500 yrs or so ago. most of them have come true.
anyways, i have an opinion that if the world comes to know that by all means, the earth will surely be destroyed by 2012, the whole world will witness a revival of the old, forgotten hippie culture, that is, fall in importance of money, free sex, drugs, music, happiness , no political actions for 2-3 yrs.
lets see what happens.
