THE PEAK OF TYRANNY IN LAMURDE CONSTITUENCY SEAT

The sudden exit of the Cat makes the mother rat and her siblings to celebrate her treasures and forget the past. But can a dead lion ever be compared with a living dog that barks even at his master’s shadow? One begins to wonder why God should bring such Human Beings that turns to bite the fingers that feds them. People that claim to be leaders but lack the leadership qualities and turn to be anti- masses. Leaders that expostulate even on issues that are developmental at the expense of the people they claimed to be represents.
But I suddenly recall that, its not all leaderships that comes from God as the devil has his own agents too at the wheels of power. The devil has clearly demonstrated it in our State Assembly quarter in Adamawa State.
The vitality of the state assembly to any Local Government can never be under-estimated. That is why it is termed the ‘Engine Hob’ of democracy, where people with proven integrity were elected to represent the voiceless ones “voice of the Voiceless” not the voice of their immediate “families”.
But what are the people of Lamurde experiencing today, the present or the latter? Of course is the direct opposite of the whole idea. A representation fulls of hatred, selfish interest, detestation, greed the likes. Such leadership qualities are lamentable, dis-heartening, regrettable and unacceptable.
Mr. Man, though you stand the better chance to do all the evil you can, display all the hatred you can, acquire as much as you can even at the expense of the constituents, be a stumbling block to the progress of many as you can, continue to an impasse to development in Lamurde as you can, by all the means you can, in all the ways you can, in all the places you can, at all the times you can, to all the people you possibly can, as long as ever you can. But remember, there are a thousands hacking at the branches of evil to one who is striking at the root.
It is true that we all have our decisions to make but at the same time get ready to face the consequences.
My dear people of Lamurde, it is our responsibility to stand up and protect our land from such people whose targets are to jeopardize our land and enrich themselves. Let us wake up and fight for the just coast. Let’s fight for our land. Let’s fight for the future of our children.
