That's a 95% Compression Ratio.
We can't help you without knowing what file-type you are trying to
compress. .jpg, .mov, .MP3, .wmv, etc. files are already compressed and
won't get any smaller with reducing the original quality. Even a
typical ".txt" file will only compress about 75%.

Handbrake. It's simply the best. No watermarks, no trial version, Mac and PC.
The problem is, this isn't specially made for iPod, you have to choose
from a dozen settings and such. But it is very flexible. You can
convert video for almost any device there is, iPod, PSP, mobile phones,

checker to see if the software on your computer is up to date.

They design their software with the initial purpose of being a useful tool, not as a product for making money.

They also may not think anyone would actually want to purchase their
software as a product, so it just makes more sense to give it away to

I think that's what you are looking for. AMP isn't pretty and it isn't
sleek, but it's free and easy and I've been happy using it for many
years
