Typhoon 'Milenyo', international name 'Xangsane' gave Metro Manila direct hit in 11 years. More than 70 people dead and millions of pesos in damaged properties. It was reported that around 70 percent of electricity was restored around the island of Luzon and is still under continuous repairs. Here is a link on the CNN Report regarding the typhoon that flattened and uprooted trees and other structures that later on continued its destruction to Vietnam.

| Google Earth really rules! My brother downloaded it on my computer after they released the new version this June. I was playing around and tried locating my place, and guess what? I found it. I saw the roof of my house, the 2 basketball courts beside my place where I play ball and I even found my workplace. DAMN! they're really good. What worries me though is that I don't think i'll ever be in private again when I'm outside the house since satellites can see anybody anywhere. But what the hell, I don't need to hide from anybody from anywhere in the world anyways. And why would somebody care about someone who's just as small as a speck of dust from the outer space.
