RE: PRESENT SITUATION IS FOR A PURPOSE
We often scream and complain when something terrible happens to us or our beloved one. In John 11:1-4, we read about Jesus calling the death of His friend Lazarus a sickness not unto death (v4). As it turned out, Lazarus was called out of his grave.
Whatever you are passing through, always bear in mind that; “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose (Romans 8:28).”
It is not uncommon if God uses our supposed to be predicament(s) to change how people see His love. We have been asked to go and tell others about the good news (Matthew 28:18-20) while we have also been assured of super natural empowerment from on high.
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, (Luke 4:18).”
Some of us don’t want to carry out this assignment because some of us will say; ‘I am shy, I do not know how, or any other excuse. We need faith because we have been commissioned to do so. There is no one who does anything in faith according to the Word of God that gets disappointed. If we act in faith according to the Word of God, God will glorify Himself and our action will end up bringing glory to God.
* “And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him, and touched the hem of his garment (Matthew 9:20)” This woman knew the power associated with Christ Jesus and wanted the world to know about it. As it turned out, this singular act became a crusade on its own. The hem of Jesus’ garment became a point of contact for all the people in the region.
* “And besought him that they might only touch the hem of his garment: and as many as touched were made perfectly whole (Matthew 14:36). We can see from this singular act that others followed. They now have a point of reference because one person applied faith so they are able to touch the hem of His garment and receive healing.
I ask you again; “What is it that you are passing through or what vision has God laid on your heart now?” Have you thought about the fact that not only will it be another way through which God wants to draw other people but that your escape is there?
Remember that if the children of Israel did not camp by the red sea that the Egyptian enemies could not have drowned thereby ending their problem of Egyptian oppression. “There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it (1 Corinthians 10:13).”
Prayer point:-
God, give me the zeal to use my supposed to be disadvantaged situation to bring glory to your name while you on the other hand will use it to take me to where I desire. Thank you for your Word because I ask in faith through our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
