RE: FROM ABRAHAM’S CALL TO ARMAGEDDON (Gen 12 – Rev. 16:16)

Since I wrote about Rapture and Tribulation, many of you have written in with many questions concerning all these things. It is not easy trying to convey a very meaningful information in just one write up and expect it to explain it all. I just pray that the Holy Spirit will guide us as we study this topic. Everything about end time has to do with Abraham’s children

We all know that Abraham had two wives Sarah and Hagar (Genesis 16:3). They both had a son for Abraham Isaac and Ishmael. Through Isaac’s linage, we have Judaism and Christianity while we have Islam through Ishmael. It is possible that the descendants of Esau joined hands with those of Ishmael. What I want us to understand is that the New Testament is a mirror of the Old Testament. Before we compare the two principal people that demonstrate how all these things happened and will happen, let us be aware of the fact that the land where the Jews occupy now including Jerusalem belong to them as the “promised land.” Study Romans 11:7-11; Isaiah 54:5; and Ezekiel 38-19.

Let us examine Joseph through whom Israel was saved from hunger and Jesus the Saviour of the world;

* The last two events that will take place under Jesus column are yet to take place. If all the other things took place except for Rapture and Armageddon you better believe that it is coming. A study of the books of Daniel, Ezekiel, Zachariah, Matthew, Luke, and Revelation will show one how this will happen because there are certain signs that will point to it.

1.       Increase in knowledge (Daniel 12:4) – before now, transportation and communication were in a timid stage but now there has been a great difference.

2.       Nuclear warfare (Zachariah 12:4) We hear about this every day as the glob is involved in various fashions of wars.

3.       Israel becoming a nation (Isaiah 11:12 and Isaiah 66:8). Israel only became a nation on May 15, 1948 after many years of captivity and Jerusalem was not captured until 1967.

4.       Jerusalem is no longer under the control of the gentiles’ (Luke 21:24; Ps 102:16).

5.       International television (Revelation 11:9-10) I can tell you that most cable television   stations will televise the dead bodies of those two witnesses Elijah and Enoch during tribulation era.

Let us therefore buckle up because this time is around the corner. If you are not sure of where you stand should this happen today then say this simple prayer;

Father, I come to you knowing that I am a sinner first by birth and I am not sure if I am able to make rapture should it take place today. Cleanse me, wash me and make me acceptable before your sight by applying the blood of Jesus. Remove my name from the book of death and write it in the book of life. Thank you for saving me because I ask in Jesus name. Amen.
