RE: EXAMINING ISSUES OF THE END TIME.

 

In our other study, we examined Joseph and Jesus and saw how certain aspects of the New Testament were repetitions of what happened in the Old Testament. In this study, we are going to study two prominent authors that God used to show us how mankind started this journey, where he is heading, and how he will end. These two men are Moses and John.

We will try to compact this and hope that you will do a study of your own because this will show us how we should prepare.

 

MOSES                                                            JOHN

1. Slaying of a blameless lamb              Jesus is the slain Lamb of God

2. Saving Israel with the blood of the      Salvation through Jesus blood shed

    lamb on the door posts                     on the cross

3. The Jews were kept captive               The world is under captivity by Satan

     by the Egyptians.

4. The Jews then                       The born again today

6. Every Israeli family killed a lamb        The Jews conspired to kill Jesus

Now, let us consider some of the plagues that took place in Egypt that will take place before Christ will come.

Some claim that we all will be here during tribulation but again I want to say that only the unbelieving Jews and unbelievers will be here. Remember that the tribulation era will last for seven years while the marriage feast will last that same number of years (1 Corinthians 15:51-541 and Thessalonians 4:13-17). Our unbelief will not stop these things from happening because out of the 10 things that happened under Moses, 7 are already in place. It is only a question of time before the rest will happen but I pray we will not be here when they happen.

PRAYER POINT:

Lord, keep me away from the world during the time of the rest events in Jesus name. Amen.
