I really regret my
trip to India
in beginning of this year. Even though the country is beautiful and has a
respected history but the dealing with people just blew everything away. The hotels
in all cities even the five stars ones are poor in hygiene and lack of cleanliness.
You have to be very careful when go eating in a restaurant if your stomach is
not strongJ
you might end up in a hospital.
In Mumbai the streets are very dirty and beggar every where
and if you give one something you will be rounded with millions asking for something,
so never make a mistake of giving to anyone. And it does not matter if you tip well
or not you will be ribbed off so stick to the rules of traveling and be careful
with money. There is a nice place I liked in Mumbai which is the Gate way of India
if you want to go to Mumbai see this place even though the beach is very dirty
and smelly.
Bangalore:
It is a city to the south of India
in a state called Karnataka state, and it was called before the gardens of India and now the silicon valley of India. I heard
so much about so I went there and it was a total shock indeedL,
Still the same thing about how roads are small and beggars but not as much as Mumbai,
Delhi and Hyderabad.
The only thing there is shopping in Commercial Street where you could get
deals on fabrics and pure leather jackets or suit cases, everything else is
expensive and not good quality.
Goa:
Goa is a nice city with
nice resorts but still you have to be very careful when it comes to food. For me
I get bread with cheese or eat fruits after I wash them thoroughly and put them
in water in vinegar for at least 20 min. but the how that place looks is really
heaven, it is so green and very nice weather.
In conclusion, India has nice historical places ,
temples and nice nature but when you go there be careful of the hygiene and monitor
your food closely so that you will not get in trouble like my Dutch friend who
was hospitalized twice there in 10 days.
