I did 44km of running this week then I decided to do a Moon Lee Tae Kwon Do class at their Marsden Dojo.
It is the first time I had done a class for four years, I am a blue belt in Moon Lee TKD. On this occassion, my first class in 4 years I was instructed to spar a black belt with the order that I do not make contact with the Black Belt. The black belt in this instance was the son of the Black belt instructor who is a fifth dan black belt in the Moon Lee TKD.
I had not anticipated the black belts intentions when I had attempted a crescent kick and he lunged at me and elbowed my left foot, in the process fracturing my toe.
I have a week to prepare for the Noosa marathon and I now have a fractured toe, I can't wear my running shoes because of the swelling.
This is the last time I will return to Moon Lee TKD and I will never return to Korean TKD or any Korean martial arts ever again.
I am annoyed because they meant to hurt me. I was considering engaging in full contact but the instructor ordered me to desist. His son is not a noble man but a schmuck he isn't good at TKD at all, he is very beatable.
