Ok things are crazy around here now. They got us working some really strange hours trying to get this new unti ready to take our spot. The worst part is that all the classes and training we are giving them is things they have already done before they even got out here. To me that seems like a waste of time that we could be giving them hands on instruction. Gotta love the military I suppose. Time has come to a stand still lately also. I know its because we have about 25 days left til Iam back in rainy Washington. The good news is I wont have to stay there too long. Looks like Iam getting a transfer to the east coast again and cant wait to get back. Dont have much time so gonna have to cut this short have to go play medic out at one of the ranges today. What fun that is.

On a military post lived a soldier and a Marine and both of them played well together. One day the two were playing, when the Marine fell into a bog and began to sink. Scared for his life, the Marine yelled for the Soldier to go get some help! Off the soldier ran, back to the base. Arriving at the base, he searched and searched for some help, but to no avail, for the base had been deployed. Running around, the soldier spied someones new Harley. Finding the keys in the ignition, the soldier sped off with a length of rope, hoping he still had time to save his friend's life. Back at the bog, the Marine was surprised, but happy, to see the Soldier arrive on the shiny Harley, and he managed to get a hold of the loop of rope the Soldier tossed to him. After tying the other end of the rope to the rear bumper of the motorcycle, the soldier then drove slowly forward and with the aid of the powerful bike, rescued the Marine! Happy and proud, the soldier rode the Harley back to the base and the deployed soldier was none the wiser when he returned. The friendship between the two was cemented: Best Buddies, Best Pals...For Life. A few weeks later, the soldier fell into a mud pit, and soon, he too began to sink and cried out to the Marine to save his life! The Marine thought for a moment, walked over and straddled the large puddle. Looking underneath himself, the Marine told the soldier to grab his schloong and he would then lift him out of the pit. The soldier got a good grip and the Marine pulled him up and out, saving his life! The moral of the story.....oh yes, you betcha, there is a moral! "When you're hung like a Marine, you don't need a Harley to pick up chicks!" OK, now who is not smiling with this one, what's that I hear, some laughing... |

| Ok here goes. I was divoriced from my daughters mother about 12 yrs ago. I asked my daughter who is 15 now if she would like to move in with me. I did nothing to coach her or offer bribes. I mean how could I from Iraq. All the while she lived with her mother, the ex-wife. When I finally asked after about 1 to 2 months what my daughters decision was she said at first that she did want to but that she would like to stay with her friends. That was fine with me to the point that I didnt ask anymore and never mentioned it again. Now a month after her answer I get a message from my daughter saying she now does want to move with me. That of course got me thinking so I talked to the ex-wife and found out that she was grounded. (Long story) My first reaction was my daughter asked to move because of that so I asked her and she gave me a long story of how her and her mom fight all the time. She also talked about how her friends and her talked also and they mentioned they would miss her but they felt she should do what she thought would be better. My daughter and I dont talk alot but when we do its about each other so we know alot about each other. Now the ex-wife is saying Iam selfish asshole because I decided to go back in the military after about 10 yrs of being out. It was because of the ex-wife that I got out in the first place. (thats a whole nother story) The ex-wife is telling me that I have now "fucked up" her life and her sons (not mine) life and now she cant afford the place she lives in and has to move. Now let me know what you people think and be honest I dont mind. Would rather hear the truth than lie to me. |
