There's no reason – real or perceived – you shouldn't see the best of Tony Romo on the football field this season. Not anymore. We all saw Romo throw 17 passes to T.O. last season against Washington. There's no statistical evidence that shows Roy Williams can supplant T.O.'s production. One of the biggest questions concerning the Cowboys is whether Williams, Patrick Crayton, Miles Austin and Sam Hurd can get it done at receiver. We don't know. We haven't seen them do it as a unit. They have one 1,000-yard season between them. Other quarterbacks have excelled without star receivers. John Elway made a habit of it. Brett Favre has done it. So has Donovan McNabb.
