Berkeley Univ., 1962       _________________ Navidad, crisol donde se mixturan lo profano y lo sagrado, lo culto y lo popular, haciÃ©ndonos simultÃ¡neamente: hombres y mujeres, de obras y tambiÃ©n de fe.   Un niÃ±o nace en un pesebre en un lugar remoto de un paÃs, cuando sus padres huyen de la ira de un gobernante, ante la inminencia de la cristalizaciÃ³n de una epifanÃa milenaria.   Un niÃ±o asombra a los sabios de su tiempo â€“ sacerdotes, escribas y fariseos- al sostener un debate acalorado, sobre las bases y los principios de la fe, al momento de replantearse la relaciÃ³n con la sociedad y la cultura de su tiempo, siendo descalificado y vituperado, por ser simplemente: el hijo de un carpintero y una ama de casa, no un docto conocedor de la estructura de las elites.   El niÃ±o ya crecido, abjura de la ley mosaica y sintetiza los mandamientos que sirvieron de guÃa y luz a toda su naciÃ³n por centurias, reduciÃ©ndolos a solo dos:   â€œAmar a Dios sobre todas las cosas y a tu prÃ³jimo como a ti mismoâ€.   Lanzo su mensaje a la comunidad, todos los dÃas de su vida, a partir de los treinta anos, predico en sÃ¡bado, acogiÃ³ a los enfermos, a los parias, a las prostitutas y creo un equipo de hombres mujeres, comunes y corrientes, quienes le siguieron, le vieron hacer actos excepcionales y posteriormente, basÃ¡ndose en la fe, ellos tambiÃ©n consiguieron realizarlos.   Supero las dicotomÃas que hacÃan posible la exclusiÃ³n y la pugna religiosa entre  judÃos y gentiles, de circuncisos e incircuncisos, con una propuesta de paz y amor universal, en un contexto signado por el odio, la intolerancia y las miserias espirituales.   Finalmente - ayer, hoy y quizÃ¡s maÃ±ana, como si no pudiera ser de otro modo- fue crucificado, acusado de los crÃmenes mÃ¡s horrendos contra la fe y la estabilidad del Estado.   Sea pues esta fecha conmemorativa de su natividadâ€¦ un espacio, para que los hombres y mujeres de luces y talento, repensemos en el valor de la decisiÃ³n y la oportunidad, para hacer la diferencia, en un mundo como el contemporÃ¡neo, en que las posesiones, el amor al dinero, el lucro y Ã©xito fÃ¡ciles -y la crisis de sentido para la vida- en ocasiones amenazan, la construcciÃ³n de subjetividades creativas y de la reflexividad necesaria, para: impulsar hacia el cambio permanente, el presente y el futuro de nuestras comunidades.   QuizÃ¡s, la respuesta en esta Ã©poca, como en cualquier otra, provenga de las voces impolutas de la infancia y la juventudâ€¦hagamos posible, con los medios al alcance de cada cual: la educaciÃ³n, el ejemplo, el ocio y la alegrÃa, que como derecho, merecen.   Yoe F.
